The Holcombe Home with what may be the Holcombes and the Bensions circa late 1800’s. Later in 1920, T. H. Ellard purchased the Holcombe Home and the surrounding farm and timber land. Mr. Ellard died two years later and the property passed on to his wife and daughter.  His daughter Leila Belle married Laurence Garrard and lived on the property until their deaths in early 1990’s. The property was then passed to their daughter and son who still own most of it to this day.
